本专业经中华人民共和国教育部正式批准的中外合作办学本科教育项目(批准书编号:XXXXXXXXXX),由烟台大学与美国迪吉彭理工学院联合举办。项目自2026年起开始招生,依托烟台大学坚实的数学学科根基以及迪吉彭理工学院在实时交互仿真、计算机科学领域的全球领先优势,深度整合两校优质教育资源,致力于培养适应数字经济与人工智能时代需求兼具扎实数学理论、卓越计算能力与跨文化创新素养的高层次复合型人才。本专业秉持数学为基、计算为核、产教融合、国际导向的特色,全面迪吉彭理工学院在算法设计、图形渲染、物理仿真及人工智能等领域的先进课程体系与项目制教学模式超过三分之一的专业核心课程由美方选派具有微软、任天堂等知名企业背景的资深教师进行全英文授课。师资团队由烟台大学科研经验丰富的教授与迪吉彭理工学院具备产业实践经验的“双师型”教师共同构成专业配备高性能计算实验室、大数据与人工智能实验室等先进平台,并与中美两地多家科技企业共建实习与研发基地,构建理论实践产业创新全链条育人环境。

2. Program Introduction

This program is a Sino-US joint program formally approved by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China (Approval Document No.: XXXXXXXXXX), jointly offered by Yantai University and DigiPen Institute of Technology, USA.The program will start enrolling students from 2026. Leveraging Yantai University’s solid foundation in mathematical sciences and DigiPen Institute of Technology’s global leading advantages in real-time interactive simulation and computer science, it deeply integrates the high-quality educational resources of both universities. It is committed to cultivating high-level interdisciplinary talents who meet the demands of the digital economy and artificial intelligence era, with solid mathematical theories, outstanding computing competence and cross-cultural innovative literacy.Adhering to the characteristics of “Mathematics as the Foundation, Computing as the Core, Integration of Industry and Education, and International Orientation”, the program fully introduces the advanced curriculum system and project-based teaching mode of DigiPen Institute of Technology in the fields of algorithm design, graphics rendering, physics simulation and artificial intelligence.More than one-third of the core major courses are delivered in English by senior faculty appointed by DigiPen side, who have industrial backgrounds in world-renowned companies such as Microsoft and Nintendo.The teaching team consists of professors with extensive research experience from Yantai University and “dual-qualified” instructors with industrial practice experience from DigiPen Institute of Technology.The program is equipped with advanced platforms including a high-performance computing laboratory and a big data & artificial intelligence laboratory. It has also built internship and research bases with a number of technology enterprises in both China and the United States, forming a full-chain education environment of “Theory – Practice – Industry – Innovation”.

 


二、培养目标与毕业要求

1. 专业培养目标

本专业面向国家科技创新与数字产业发展战略,融合烟台大学守信、求实、好学、力行的育人传统与迪吉彭理工学院项目驱动、产教协同的教育理念,以立德树人为根本,培养德智体美劳全面发展,掌握信息与计算科学的基本理论、方法及技能,具备扎实数学基础、卓越计算机编程与系统实现能力、跨文化协作意识以及解决复杂工程与科学计算问题能力的高素质国际复合型人才。学生毕业后5年左右应达成以下目标:

培养目标1:专业核心能力:能融合数学、计算机科学与信息科学的理论方法,在人工智能、大数据、实时仿真、金融科技等领域,对复杂系统进行建模、算法设计与软件实现,设计与实现稳健、高效的计算或工程解决方案。

培养目标2:工程实践与责任意识:在信息技术相关工程实践中,能综合考虑社会、安全、伦理、环境及可持续发展等因素,恪守职业道德,具备高度的社会责任感和工程规范意识。

培养目标3:跨文化团队协作:能在国际化、多学科团队中有效沟通、协作与领导,具备全球视野,能追踪并适应信息技术领域国际前沿与发展动态。

Objectives and Graduation Requirements

1.Objectives

This program aligns with the national strategies for scientific and technological innovation and digital industry development. It integrates Yantai University’s educational tradition of “Integrity, Pragmatism, Diligence and Practice” and DigiPen Institute of Technology’s educational philosophy of “Project-Driven and Industry-Education Collaboration”. Grounded in the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, the program aims to cultivate high-caliber international interdisciplinary talents who achieve well-rounded development in moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and labor education. Graduates will master the basic theories, methods and skills of Information and Computing Science, possess a solid mathematical foundation, exceptional computer programming and system implementation capabilities, cross-cultural collaboration awareness, and the competence to solve complex engineering and scientific computing problems. Graduates are expected to attain the following objectives approximately 5 years after graduation:

Objective 1: Core Professional Competence Able to integrate theories and methods of mathematics, computer science and information science to conduct complex system modeling, algorithm design and software implementation in fields including artificial intelligence, big data, real-time simulation and fintech, and develop efficient and reliable numerical computing or engineering solutions.

Objective 2: Engineering Practice and Sense of Responsibility Able to comprehensively consider factors such as society, safety, ethics, environment and sustainable development in information technology-related engineering practices, abide by professional ethics, and maintain a strong sense of social responsibility and engineering standards.

Objective 3: Cross-Cultural Team Collaboration Able to communicate, collaborate and lead effectively in international and multidisciplinary teams, equipped with a global vision, and capable of tracking and adapting to international frontiers and developments in the information technology sector.

Objective 4: Lifelong Learning and Innovation Possess the capacity for independent learning and lifelong development, adapt to technological changes through continuous learning, and demonstrate innovative thinking and entrepreneurial potential in practical activities.

 

 

2. 专业毕业要求

本专业学生需系统学习数学、计算机科学及跨学科知识,接受严谨的数学思维训练与系统的工程实践培养,具备解决信息技术及科学工程领域实际问题的能力。毕业生应达到以下要求:

毕业要求1. 数学与工程知识:掌握数学、自然科学、工程基础及信息与计算科学专业知识,并能用于解决信息技术领域的复杂工程问题。

毕业要求2. 问题分析能力:能运用数学、自然科学与工程科学原理,识别、表达并通过文献研究分析复杂工程问题,获得有效结论。

毕业要求3. 算法与系统设计与开发:能针对复杂计算问题或信息系统需求,设计算法、开发模块或集成系统,并在设计中体现创新意识。

毕业要求4. 现代工具运用:能选择、使用乃至开发恰当的信息技术工具、软件平台与模拟资源,对复杂工程问题进行预测、模拟与分析,理解其局限性。

毕业要求5. 职业规范与社会责任:具备人文社科素养与社会责任感,在工程实践中遵守职业道德与规范,履行社会责任。

毕业要求6. 团队协作与沟通:具备跨学科团队协作能力,能通过数学建模竞赛、创新项目、国际团队合作等形式有效沟通与协同工作。

2. Graduation Requirements

Students of this program are required to systematically study mathematics, computer science and interdisciplinary knowledge, receive rigorous mathematical thinking training and systematic engineering practice cultivation, and develop the ability to solve practical problems in the fields of information technology and scientific engineering. Graduates shall meet the following requirements:

Graduate Requirement 1: Mathematics and Engineering Knowledge Master professional knowledge of mathematics, natural sciences, engineering fundamentals and information and computing science, and apply such knowledge to solve complex engineering problems in the information technology field.

Graduate Requirement 2: Problem Analysis Apply principles of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering sciences to identify and formulate complex engineering problems, analyze them through literature research, and draw effective conclusions.

Graduate Requirement 3: Algorithm and System Design & Development Design algorithms, develop modules or integrated systems for complex computing problems or information system requirements, and demonstrate innovation awareness in the design process.

Graduate Requirement 4: Modern Tool Utilization Select, utilize and even develop appropriate information technology tools, software platforms and simulation resources to predict, simulate and analyze complex engineering problems, and understand their limitations.

Graduate Requirement 5: Professional Norms and Social Responsibility Possess humanistic and social literacy and a sense of social responsibility, abide by professional ethics and norms, and fulfill social responsibilities in engineering practice.

Graduate Requirement 6: Teamwork and Communication Have the ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams, and communicate and cooperate effectively through mathematical modeling competitions, innovation projects, international team cooperation and other forms.

Graduate Requirement 7: Project Management Understand and master engineering management and economic decision-making methods, and be capable of planning and managing information technology projects in multidisciplinary settings.

Graduate Requirement 8: Lifelong Learning Have the awareness of independent learning and lifelong learning, and continuously adapt to the rapid changes in the information technology field.

三、修读要求

1.核心课程

高等数学I,II、解析几何、线性代数、概率论与数理统计、高级程序设计、高级数据库数据结构、算法分析、分布式数据管理操作系统计算机网络等

2.学制及学分要求

学制年,修满171学分方能毕业。其中通识教育49学分,专业教育112学分,实践教育10学分。

3.授予学位

学生同时符合烟台大学与美国迪吉彭理工学院学位授予条件的,分别授予烟台大学理学学士学位、美国迪吉彭理工学院计算机科学理学学士学位。美国迪吉彭理工学院学位授予要求为:修完培养方案规定的迪吉彭理工学院教师授课课程与学分互认课程,且加权平均绩点不低于2.0;语言要求遵照烟台大学学士学位授予相关标准执行。学生获得迪吉彭理工学院学位证书不以出国学习一段时间为必要条件。

 


Program Requirements

1. Core Curriculum

 Calculus I, II, Linear Algebra and Geometry, Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics, Advanced Programming, Advanced Databases, Data Structures, Algorithm Analysis, Distributed Data Management etc.

2. Academic Duration and Credit Requirements

The academic program lasts four years, requiring a total of 171 credits for graduation. This includes 49credits in general education, 112credits in specialized education, and 10credits in practical education.

3. Degree Awarding

Students who meet the degree conferral requirements of both Yantai University and DigiPen Institute of Technology (USA) shall be awarded the Bachelor of Science Degree by Yantai University and the Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science by DigiPen Institute of Technology (USA) respectively. The requirements for the degree conferral by DigiPen Institute of Technology (USA) are as follows: completion of all courses taught by DigiPen’s faculty and all articulated courses as specified in the training program, with a weighted grade point average (GPA) of no less than 2.0; language proficiency requirements shall be subject to the relevant standards for bachelor’s degree conferral of Yantai University. Students’ obtaining the degree certificate from DigiPen Institute of Technology (USA) shall not be conditional upon a period of overseas study at the DigiPen institution.
